Yep. It rained and rained and rained… and then it stopped… just in time. :0) God is good that way. A beautiful wedding with two beautiful friends. I hope you enjoy a few images from the day.

While editing images tonight, this one really stood out… more to come!

Let me start by saying that I’m completely overwhelmed and grateful to God for healthy children.

I know of several friends (and people I haven’t even met) whose lot in life is a sick child. I can’t even begin to image what this feels like. I honestly wouldn’t be able do much of anything that didn’t involve fear, worry and tears…

However, I am conviced that whatever God sends in our life is completely best.. but so far, He has been gracious to spare us from the intense heartache and fear that comes from having sick children. Some people are not nearly as fortunate, yet their resolve and faith in the goodness of God is encouraging to me. Thus, I don’t want to keep from thanking Him. He is good to us all and more loving than we know.

Is it wrong to want health for those you love? No. But it’s true we get closer to Him when we need Him the most.
