Saw this… thought I’d share.

A brief preview from a sweet wedding in Wake Forest.

Chris & Natalie

Chris and Natalie showed the world how to party, no matter whether it was 100 degrees or not. The heat couldn’t stop this group from having an awesome outdoor wedding, full of friends, family and fun. Thanks C & N for being so patient for these!! Definitely one of our favorite weddings this year.

Lisa

Another shot from a recent engagement shoot. Lisa has the coolest, most intense blue eyes- very fun to photograph. This reminds me of Alice in Wonderland a little bit….

Logan & Lisa

This image was shot at the end of our engagement session- the sun was shining on one side of us and this foreboding storm was creeping up behind us… and it created this very cool looking light. If it wasn’t dangerous to shoot in severe weather, I just might do it all the time. More to come… here’s just a peek.

Lauren & Kenny

Rain? Check. Lightning? Check. Rainbow? Check. Yeah, it was a pretty exciting Saturday summer wedding to say the least. But Lauren did really well considering the downpour and got to finally walk down the aisle once the rain stopped… Thanks L and K for waiting so patiently on these- you guys are great!

It’s good to be free.

Happy Independence weekend everyone- I actually read the Declaration of Independence this year (I’ve put it off for the past, um well, 31)… but it was good to reflect on the how and why we got where we are. I hope you all had a great weekend, we got to see some fireworks with the kids- I tell you, nothing stops a kid in his tracks quite like an explosion of color in the sky.

Josh & Kristi

I tried my best to wear Josh out on this shoot, but he wouldn’t give in… I seriously could have photographed these guys all day- they are so natural together, not to mention extremely photogenic. This shoot started off kind of interesting- I went to take the first shot and realized we had left ALL of our camera batteries at home! I had to race home (no tickets) and get them before the sun fell out of the sky. Thankfully Josh and Kristi were totally awesome and it didn’t deter a great shoot. We hope you like these!

Portrait of a boy.

I shot this image at Joe and Michele’s wedding. Truth be told, I tried 3 times to get this shot, but he kept looking at me like I was crazy and then turning away. The lesson of the day? Persistence pays…

Ravi & Kelly

I have been really excited to blog this wedding… There were so many great pictures of these two that it was hard to even narrow it down a little bit. This wedding was a unique combination of Irish and Indian culture… with Irish banners and color-rich Indian dress and music… definitely one of the best, most heart-felt weddings this year! Ravi and Kelly- you guys really know how to throw a party! It was so much fun hanging out with you on your wedding day… Enjoy!

One last shot- this totally sums up the day for me.
